De-escalation Training for Community Members - Utah Fall Conference

Intervening with emotionally upset individuals can be challenging. This workshop at the Utah Fall Conference will present intervention strategies for the full spectrum from being upset to acting out aggressively. A mental health clinician and a law enforcement officer, bother who have experience with responding to individuals in crisis in the community, will discuss strategies that have used to de-escalate situations and maintain safety.
